The Rectoral de Fofe is a historic building located in a privileged setting from which you can enjoy sweeping, unbeatable views of the Tielas Valley. The oldest part dates back to the 17th century, and up to six priests once lived there. Restored in 1998 for use as a tourist establishment, the Rectory is full of surprising corners for travelers: the old Lareira, the Palomar, the baptismal font, the library...
The house has something unique, and that is its location. The views are a window to the valley, and whether it is raining or the sun is shining, whether it is spring, summer, or fall... it is mesmerizing and fills travelers with peace and tranquility. The building itself, as a hotel establishment, is also unique: a 17th-century rectory with every stone and corner exuding soul and history.
The pool and gardens are a balcony overlooking the valley and its glass-enclosed café allows you to enjoy the views at any time of year.
The Rectoral's stoves are always lit to delight the palates of its guests. The pantry is stocked with the best ingredients from the garden, seasonal products that nourish the dishes that are cooked, combining traditional cuisine with modern restaurant concepts. From homemade breakfasts to dinners and lunches, you can enjoy your meals in winter by the fire and in summer in the outdoor gardens.
