Port Ginesta: New beach for dogs in Sitges (Barcelona)

This time, the lucky four-legged friends have once again been the residents of Barcelona. The popular tourist town of Sitges, located 20 minutes from Barcelona, has set aside a section of beach for owners and pets to use and enjoy throughout the year. The beach chosen was Port Ginesta, located on the stretch next to the harbor breakwater.

Before the summer ends, we hope to show our faces around there. So soon, we'll write to you with more information and photos of this new dog-friendly beach. How exciting!

Likewise, we remind you that Sitges has two more beaches that allow dogs: Vallcarca Beach and Playa dels Grills.

Last-minute notice: Due to damage and theft by a group opposed to this initiative, the Sitges city council reports that the beach will not allow dogs for a few days until the area is properly delimited to avoid conflicts with other bathers. You can stay informed through the  Facebook group Playa Port Ginesta.
