·Playa Cunchiña in Cangas

The dog beach of A Cunchiña is located right in front of the old Massó cannery. Massó was once the largest cannery in Europe.

The beach is about 100m long and 15m wide, and it is a sandy beach that ends in a rocky area. On this dog beach, you will have sun from early morning, and it is also sheltered from the north and northwest winds (the prevailing wind in summer that brings good weather).

How to get there?

You can arrive by car and park about 200m from the beach access, or you can walk from the center of Cangas. In any case, the access is comfortable and through an area where vehicular traffic is restricted in the last few meters.

From Playa de A Cunchiña, you can take the opportunity to stroll along the pedestrian area around the old Massó factory, and if you feel like walking a bit more, connect with the coastal path that goes from Playa de Areamilla to Liméns.

From the beach, if you really enjoy walking, you can continue and reach the cliffs of Cabo Home. The sunsets from Costa de la Vela are stunning.

·Foz and Calzoa Beaches, in Vigo.

These Dog Friendly beaches in the city of Vigo are located next to each other, so they actually feel like a single beach, but it is still a pleasant surprise for the locals and the dog community in general.

Located on the left side of Samil Beach, these beaches are adjacent to each other, giving the impression of being one beach. According to news reports, it would be about 500 meters long, but in reality it barely reaches 300 meters.

A clean beach, away from the road and walled, which adds an extra layer of safety. The beach gives good vibes and will surely be a very pleasant place to spend quality time with your dogs.

Tips and Advice for Going to the Beach..

If you go to the beach with your dog, don't forget to keep in mind some tips:

-At the beach, you can't forget to bring an umbrella for your dog, especially if it has white fur or a pink nose, as they are more susceptible to sunlight.

-On the other hand, it is very important to keep him well hydrated throughout the day. It is essential that we go to the beach with a portable water and food bowl, which we will need to constantly refill with fresh water so that the dog does not suffer from heatstroke.

-Before returning home, remove the sea salt with a shower to prevent his skin from drying out.

-We also recommend bringing all his beach accessories in this dog bag. In it, you can store his water, his food in a moisture-proof container that comes included, the towel, brush, leashes, treats, sunscreen, etc...
